It was tough just to get the Customers you have – Now you’re going to let your competitors take them?

You put a good roof on the property. Quality materials, quality workmanship, watertight, and it looks great. But everyone knows it won’t stay that way… So what happens next?

The roof is eventually going to need maintenance – whether it’s cleaning, clearing debris out of the valleys and gutters, or just simple periodic inspections to make sure their warranties are still valid. But since you don’t offer a maintenance program, your customers have to look somewhere else. And they spend their money somewhere else.

Luckily for the Homeowner or Property Manager, more and more companies are offering steep-slope maintenance programs that include inspections, minor preventative maintenance, cleaning, and roof stain prevention.  This is Good News for Customers since they’ll be able to protect their investment and ensure that the roofs look good and last as long as possible. This is Bad News for You because once you've lost your customers to a company that offers these services at a reasonable price, you've probably lost them forever.

Every roof needs periodic maintenance and the vast majority of residential roofs in Florida are cleaned on a regular basis. They really should be inspected on a regular basis as well. Unfortunately, inspections are neglected and most of the cleaning has usually been done by contractors that are not licensed, insured, or qualified to do the work properly – but this is changing.

Homeowners and Property Managers are tired of having their roofs damaged
by pressure cleaning and high-strength chlorine bleach - so they're looking for a better alternative. And professional Roofing, Painting, and Property Maintenance companies are realizing that they should be offering a roof maintenance program to bring in additional revenue but, more importantly, they need to do it in order to remain competitive and keep their customers.

If you're involved in Roofing, Painting, or Property Maintenance and your competitor offers a roof maintenance program but you don't - your competitor wins.

And since Roof-A-Cide® helps companies design cost-effective roof maintenance programs that eliminate most of the labor associated with keeping the roof clean - if your competitor offers a roof maintenance program with Roof-A-Cide® but you don't - your competitor wins again.

How Long Does a Roof Really Last?

We had an opportunity yesterday to talk with Tom Platania of the Comfort Time Live home improvement show.

Dirty Roof Before Roof-A-Cide®
Clean Roof After Roof-A-Cide®

Tom was great and asked some very good questions that most Homeowners and Property Managers have about Proper Roof Maintenance, Roof Cleaning, and Maximizing the Life of the Roof. And since this is a call-in show, his listeners also called in with some very good questions as well.

The topics included different roof cleaning methods, the use of Chlorine Bleach, the effects of the lack of proper maintenance, life expectancy of roofs.

Roof-A-Cide® is NOT about Roof Cleaning.......

Our products CAN clean roofs, but THIS is why Roofing & Property Maintenance Professionals use Roof-A-Cide® to PREVENT roof stains instead of simply cleaning roofs when they get dirty:

Coastal Painting Company completes Roof-A-Cide® treatment of 600 homes in South Fl. in about 10 days.

These Roofs have never been cleaned and they will NEVER need to be cleaned. A light treatment every couple of years will keep these roofs looking like new and ELIMINATE the need for future cleaning and the potential for damage that goes along with it.

Roof-A-Cide® allows Roofing and Property Maintenance Professionals to offer their customers the safest, most cost-effective alternative to roof cleaning.

This eliminates the need for pressure cleaning or toxic chemicals like Chlorine Bleach and saves Wear & Tear on the roof - reducing labor costs by as much as 75%.

Here's another example

Roof-A-Cide® remains the ONLY EPA Approved and Manufacturer Approved solution that can PREVENT the problem of Roof Stains seen throughout the US without the need for Chlorine Bleach or Pressure Cleaning.

Roof-A-Cide Demo Days in South Florida

Roof-A-Cide recently completed a set of Demos in Boynton Beach where Coastal Roof Cleaning Systems was finishing up a community of roughly 800 homes – their third large community so far in 2012 – with many scheduled this year. This particular Community was treated with Roof-A-Cide in January of 2010, so the roofs were still spotless and no roof cleaning was necessary.

Seven companies from Jacksonville, Naples, Miami, and West Palm Beach attended the Demo sessions where they were able to see the whole Roof-A-Cide Treatment process first-hand and learn how implementing this process would be easily accomplished and would benefit their companies and their customers immediately.

Even though they were all somewhat familiar with Roof-A-Cide, they were all surprised by the speed at which these roofs were being completed. Coastal crews were averaging 15 minutes per roof. And with 2 crews running, they were completing 50-60 roofs each day. As compared with pressure cleaning, the Roof-A-Cide process saved approximately 1,800 man-hours in labor costs. And as compared with Bleach cleaning, the Roof-A-Cide process eliminated the need for approximately 20,000 gallons of Chlorine Bleach being sprayed on the roofs of this Community.

Many that attended also got a chance to talk with Homeowners that were familiar with our process, and with roof cleaning in general, to learn why these residents wholeheartedly endorse Roof-A-Cide and why they never want to deal with the thought of pressure cleaning or spraying bleach to keep their roofs looking clean.

If you have been looking for ways to increase and/or diversify your revenues, you should be looking at Roof-A-Cide as a natural addition to any Roofing, Painting, or Home Maintenance Service.
